CT (computerized tomography) scan – A medical imaging technique which utilizes computer-processed combinations of multiple X-ray measurements taken from different angles to produce tomographic images of the body.

CT (computerized tomography) scans scan are a medical imaging technique which utilize computer-processed combinations of multiple X-ray measurements taken from different angles to produce tomographic (cross-sectional) images (virtual ‘slices’) of the body, allowing the user to visualize inside the body without invasive procedures. CT scanning has several advantages over traditional two-dimensional medical radiography, including higher accuracy and image resolution.1
