Lymphadenopathy

Lymphadenopathy in the glossary for Waldenström's macroglobulinemia

Lymphadenopathy or adenopathy is a disease of the lymph nodes, in which they are abnormal in size or consistency.

Causes of generalized lymphadenopathy include infections, autoimmune diseases, malignancies, histiocytosis, storage diseases, benign hyperplasia, and drug reactions. Generalized lymphadenopathy is most often associated with systemic viral infections.1
