Neuropathy

Disease or dysfunction of one or more nerves, typically causing pain, numbness or weakness.

Neuropathy refers to any numerous functional disturbances and pathologic changes in the peripheral nervous system. The etiology may be known (for example, arsenical, diabetic, ischemic or traumatic neuropathy) or unknown. 1 Neuropathy typically causes pain, numbness or weakness. 2
