Pharmacokinetics (PK) is defined as the branch of pharmacology concerned with the movement of drugs within the body. This includes the time course of drug absorption, bioavailability, distribution, metabolism, and excretion. Pharmacokinetics aims to analyze chemical metabolism and to discover the fate of a chemical from the moment that it is administered up to the point at which it is completely eliminated from the body.1
